This essay discusses the cultural ramifications on education. The classroom environment from the point of view of the teacher should be such that the child is able to celebrate and is  proud of native culture and at the same time is not confused or at a loss of unable to fir in because the prevalent culture has a different set of rules and standards of acceptable behavior.

Research shows that children’s inclination to participate in class activities are influenced by how compatible the cultural environment of home and school is. I would like to use regulating pause time prompting children to take part, coordinating small sets to complement children’s home environment, and other ways which are designed towards rising home-school compatibility seem to make easy for the children to learn and also to become part of the larger student body.

There is a need for high degree of comfort and commandment on part of the teacher to make the transition from a totally home based environment to a larger school based environment which would make the child a part of the student body.
