This then leads to an increase in the amount of greenhouse gases present in the Earth’s atmosphere (Caroline Quatman). The Earth’s surface gets warmed due to the radiation from the sun which first enters the atmosphere of the Earth. The long-wave radiation is emitted back into the atmosphere once it has been absorbed by the Earth (Brent C.Willhoite).
When there is a climatic change in the earth’s atmosphere, it occurs due to many greenhouses gases building up. Greenhouses gases are those which occur in the atmosphere due to certain types of human activities (Melissa Phillips). If there is an increased amount of greenhouse gases in the earth’s atmosphere, it can prove to be harmful as they enhance the earth’s capability of trapping heat (Anne Rector).
People often have wrong thoughts about global warming. Some people believe that global warming is a result of pollution. This is not true.
