This essay discusses women’s right movement. It was on the 2nd of November in 1920 that women cast their votes for the very first time. It was termed as the greatest voting day in the history of the city (The New York Times). It was considered to be a great day for women all over the country as their hard work and efforts had finally resulted in what they were working for. It was due to this Women’s rights movement that the way in which women were seen all across the world changed.

Men however were considered to carry out the heavy labor which consisted of activities such as hunting and plowing. Women were expected to look after the children at home, prepare meals and to carry out the work done at home. Women’s major role was considered to be that of maternity.
