This is an essay on drug abuse. When drugs are used, they can have serious effects on the body. Even after drug consumption has been stopped, the drugs still tend to have effects on the body. Research is being conducted on a daily basis regarding the abuse of drugs. With the amount of studies carried out, there are only a small percentage of findings which are considered as being correct and accurate. The studies however are able to provide information regarding the effects which legal and illegal drugs have on the individual.

To be able to understand how drugs actually work, it is important to first understand the type of changes which occur in a person’s body when the drug starts its effects.
