This essay discusses how China has coped with overpopulation crisis. All over the world, many men, women and children are suffering from poverty and lack of food. Many families living in third world countries have to live without food and water.

All over the world, many men, women and children are suffering from poverty and lack of food. Many families living in third world countries have to live without food and water. Due to this, there is an increase in the number of children dying before the age of five. Never has the world seen so many children dead at such an age. It is however not humanly possible to provide food and clothing to everyone all over the world. There are many natural resources throughout the world which we can make use of. However, these resources are manhandled by people rather than being preserved and taken care of the way it should be. Due to this, the fossil fuels which are widely available will cease to exist within a few years. Many species have also become extinct. With the rise in the population, more products are required to be produced in factories, more jobs are needed and most of all, the Earth’s resources need to be consumed more. The world is certainly overcrowded and overpopulated!

Apart from this, poverty has also led to a widespread increase in diseases which tend to affect the slum areas more often. Humans already have to deal with the increase in the population. The large number of people is what has forced people to adapt more modern methods and to adapt higher living standards. Sanitation workers are paid wages to collect trash which is generated by people living in large cities. The larger the city, the more there is a need for sanitation (Garrett Hardin).
