Technology has been developing at a tremendous rate, especially in the past ten years sending and receiving information has become so much easier. The number of channels through which we can access information has increased from cellular phone to the greatest breakthrough of Internet, new technology has been introducing interesting channels. Internet revolution allows transmission of information provides entertainment and sending messages through email and instant messaging has revolutionized how information is sent. Internet acts as a channel with the personal computers act as decoders in this technology driven environment.

I am very fascinated by technology and usually adopt it as soon as it comes into the mark, usually within three to four months; I end up having access to either a device or a facility like DSL.

Journal Entry # 2

Now with new technology and increase in new media channels like Internet, we have to choose from different channels of broadcasting that exists today. My favorite broadcast medium is Television. In the past it used to be the most popular broadcast medium, but with Internet and personalized access to information more and more people have been turning to Internet. But to me he experience, information and entertainment that television provides is much more then Internet. It allows me to relax layback and enjoy myself, without sitting in front of a computer for long hours.

Although I always welcome new channels and mediums of information but I still think that television is most effective in reaching people of all ages and varying interest, this makes it markedly superior then other media.
