By presenting a very strong argument all through the article and providing evidence related to what has been happening in the media particularly television, specifically the 2000 election, where television played a very important role in sending across a message biased towards the right.

The first reason he gives is that media is controlled by large corporation, which are huge and virtually control all media. These corporations are largely republican, and thus subtly and not to subtly backed George W Bush. And he predicts that during his tenure there will be merger between newspapers and large corporations.

The bias is atmospheric, as a majority of the people in the various new divisions and analysts are right-wingers.  And they are also radical in their views about politics and issues. This is followed by the press corps in Washington DC who cover the president they also lean t the right as they are the top earners and come in the higher income bracket.

The media is not providing information or details, as is the case of Bush but concentrates on the so-called message. This has lead to ignoring important issues in health and education and discussing trivial matters. There is also a great deal of pressure by he advertisers also from large corporations.

I feel the author makes a strong case and it is a fact that virtually the whole of our media is controlled by large corporations who are mostly conservative and back he republican ideology.
