This is an essay on Othello. Overall, race was highly significant theme in Shakespeare’s play that had affected on people’s thoughts about Othello. Race caused how Othello recognized himself as a harsh stranger. In conclusion, Shakespeare describe Othello, a black Moor, that easily lost his wife and consequently his life due to his jealously and vanity and having much more than enough trust to Iago without any self knowledge. In addition, Othello let Iago to manipulate him and destroy his position and his life extremely easily. Shakespeare considered interracial marriage in this tragedy by a different race between Othello and Desdemona. However Othello worked hard to reduce distance from his wife and surrounded white people around him, and he would be successful to reach this achievement. Finally if he recognized Iago’s plan and trusted to his loved one and their relationship, he would never make wrong decision and spoil his life.
