Introduction
Every country is vulnerable to unexpected disaster and emergency calamities. The United States of America is no different. It was just in the recent past when the major part of South of America were wiped out by Katrina and Rita. The worst ever hurricanes that the nation might have encountered.
Similarly there have been numerous cases where young college students in their utmost state of depression have created havoc by taking away lives of many innocent colleagues along with their own life. This too can be called an emergency situation.
In the same way when fire breaks out destroying most or all of the trees, much to everyone’s regret, the government cannot deny responsibility. It is for these emergency situations for which the government has to decide and act immediately and swiftly. With all of this it is difficult for one to comprehend the amount of overspending on defense and war. America went to war with both Iraq and Afghanistan and every American was made to believe that this war was for their benefit and to their advantage. Whereas some might have believed, mostly, and especially those who were slightly rational minded could see through to the media and analyze and know that these wars were in no way for their gain. It’s hard to believe why any one of the troops stationed either Iraq or Afghanistan would be elated at winning a war in a foreign land when their families are suffering miles and miles away. The media is there only to fool such people and sadly there were few who agreed with the policies of the government and their reasons for war, only to realize later that the government made no sense at all and instead of protecting them exposed them to greater danger.
