I have been living in the United States of America for almost three years, working as a research associate with different American universities, however now I believe it is time for me to settle and  pursue a more productive career path as these positions are temporary. Although I have the option to go back to my native country India, but like many other individuals I think Australia holds a lot of potential and promise by offering opportunity to pursue my profession.

As my curriculum vitae indicate I am presently a postdoctoral research associate in the field of chemistry with Tulane University in Louisiana, USA, I have had a rigorous education from India and acquired my doctoral degree in chemistry from University of Hyderabad in 2005.

My experience in America has been instrumental in developing my skills as a researcher and allowed me to contribute by being part of various research teams. It has also given me opportunity to write papers in prestigious scientific journals.

My return to India would stunt my career goal, since India is still a developing country it does not have the resources or the opportunities which would match my recent experience.

I have applied for Australia Skill Matching visa (Subclass 134), as mentioned in the application details an approval by the immigration section will allow me to live and work in Australia and be eligible for all the benefits like social security and free healthcare facilities, and Australian citizenship. More importantly I will not only  have access to many Australian universities and research institutions, which are considered one of the best in the world; but I will also have chance to work for organisations like laboratories or chemical and pharmaceutical industries..
